Last year I had a bit of an issue with protein overload and since then have gotten the situation mostly under control. With a change in a few products that I was using and a couple of tweaks in my natural hair care regimen I’ve helped bring my hair nightmare to an end for the most part. I still have issues with one side growing faster than the other, and being thicker/fuller than the other … but I’ve gotten rid of the breakage issue.
